Liu Shijie

Principal Dancer of Liaoning Ballet.

Liu Shijie graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music affiliated Dance School.   

He has performed many Chinese and western classical repertoires, and contemporary works. World classic repertoires include “Don Quixote”, “Spartacus”, “Le Corsaire”, “La Sylphide”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Swan Lake” etc.; Original Chinese repertoires include “Liaohe River•Lullaby”, “Eight Woman Fighters”, “Mulan”, “Iron Man Wang” etc.; Contemporary repertoires include “Butterfly Lovers”, “The Cliffs” etc.            

 He won the Excellent Performance Prize in the 9^th Taoli Cup Competition in 2009, Special Prize of Organizing Committee in Beijing International Ballet Invitational For Dance Schools in2010, and Bronze Prize of Male Adults in the 10^th South African International Ballet Competition in 2018.

He has visited many countries for performing as a cultural exchange ambassador.
