Zhang Yikun graduated from Liaoning Ballet affiliated Ballet Dance School in 2018, and joined in Liaoning Ballet in the same year. She has studied and exchanged in Joffrey Ballet, Chicago in 2016.
She has performed many Chinese and western classic repertoires. World classic repertoires include “Swan Lake”, “Spartacus”, “Raymonda”, “The Nutcracker” etc.; Original Chinese repertoires include “Eight Woman Fighters”, “Mulan”, “Iron Man Wang” etc.; Contemporary repertoires include “Butterfly Lovers”, “Loneliness” etc.
She won the Silver Prize in Osaka International Ballet Competition, Japan in 2017, Bronze Prize of Female Juniors and Special Prize of Organizing Committee in the 10th South African International Ballet Competition in 2018. In 2018, she won the Silver Prize of Female Juniors in the 6th Shanghai International Ballet Competition. She won the Bronze Prize of Adults in the 5th Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition in 2019 (a vacancy for silver prize).
She has visited many countries for performing as a cultural exchange ambassador.
