Qi Linshi graduated from Liaoning Ballet affiliated Ballet Dance School.
He has performed many Chinese and western classical repertoires, and contemporary works. World classic repertoires include “La Sylphide”, “The Nutcracker”, “Swan Lake”, “Raymonda”, “Le Corsaire”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Don Quixote”, “Giselle”, “Spartacus”, “Romeo and Juliet” etc.; Original Chinese repertoires include “The Last Emperor”, “The Moon Shadow in Er Quan”, “The Peony Fairy”, “Liaohe River•Lullaby”, “Eight Woman Fighters”, “Mulan”, “Iron Man Wang” etc.; Contemporary repertoires include “Butterfly Lovers”, “The Song Without Words” etc.
In 2016, the ballet “Eight Woman Fighters” led by him was awarded the highest prize of Chinese government in culture and arts “Wenhua Grand Prize”; The ballet “Eight Woman Fighters” led by him was awarded the Best Works Award in the 14th Construction of Spiritual Civilization.
Qi Linshi has coached dancers to win two gold prizes and two bronze prizes in South African International Ballet Competition, and win the silver prize of Male Adults in Shanghai International Ballet Competition.
He has visited many countries for performing as a cultural exchange ambassador.
