The neo-classical ballet Notre Dame de Paris is customized by the globally renowned choreographer Patrick de Bana for Liaoning Ballet. It is created by taking the novel of same name for French writer Victor Hugo as the creation background, illustrating the miserable sufferings of a gypsy girl full of vagarious stories. Inspired by the oil paintings of famous painter in France, the stage is designed exotically, the music is created by organically integrating multiple different genres in classical and modern styles, so as to arrange and recombine the story lines that we are familiar in different time and spaces, combining both medieval features and modern styles. It demonstrates the unique classics with modern ballet language complying with the aesthetics of times between realistic and abstract.
